Request for Studies for Meta-Analysis on Felt Accountability

    Dear colleagues,

My co-authors, Dwight Frink (University of Mississippi) and Wajda Irfaeya Wikhamn (University of Gothenburg, Sweden), and I are conducting a meta-analysis of felt accountability (also referred to as “individual-level accountability” or simply “accountability”).

In order to ensure that the meta-analysis is as comprehensive as possible, we are looking for any empirical studies investigating the effects of accountability that have either not been published or are currently under review. Our criteria for inclusion are simple: there must be some element of answerability to some audience (including accountability to oneself) within an organizational setting, excluding educational studies at the lower levels such as elementary or high schools. Both laboratory and field studies are welcome, as are both manipulated and measured operationalizations of accountability.

Please send copies of any documents to angela.hall@utsa.edu. Thank you in advance for your assistance in this research. Apologies for any cross-postings.

    Sincerely,
