*** Apologies for cross-postings ***
Dear colleagues,
On behalf of my fellow Co-Chairs of the Micro-CSR Track, I'd like to draw your attention to three special features of the 2015 Corporate Responsibility Research Conference (CRRC) this Sept. 16-18 in Marseille, France.
1. We are planning a Micro-CSR Track comprising research presentations and working paper sessions designed to provide feedback to authors. We've already accepted several exciting papers, and the deadline to submit abstracts is June 15, with full papers due by July 31.
2. Following the conference we're holding an informal gathering of micro-CSR scholars on Sept. 19. We will meet in a nice setting to provide each other feedback on our work, inspire future research and collaboration, and set the stage to create a peer network.
3. We're co-editing a micro-CSR special issue in Frontiers in Psychology (impact factor 2.8). The selected articles will likely include, but are not limited to, the top papers presented in the Micro-CSR Track at CRRC 2015.
More information is provided below.
Best wishes,
David A. Jones, Ante Glavas, and Chelsea R. Willness

Abstract submission deadline: June 15, 2015
Full manuscript deadline: July 31, 2015
2. Informal Gathering of Micro-CSR Scholars: Sept. 19
The gathering will take place the day after the conference, Sept. 19, in an informal setting (location TBD, but probably close to sea, and/or nature). There will be no registration fees, but fees for food and related costs are possible (depending on the outcome of our discussions with potential sponsors).
The main goals are to develop an informal peer support network and to facilitate collaborations. We plan to provide each other informal feedback on our own papers and projects in progress. We will hold group discussions about what we know, don't know, and future trends in the micro-CSR field, with the hope of inspiring future research and collaborations. 3. Special Issue in Frontiers in Psychology on Micro-CSR
A focus on stakeholder well-being has long been integral to CSR scholarship. Only recently, however, have researchers devoted sustained attention to understanding how employees-both current and prospective-perceive, engage in, and react to CSR initiatives directed at themselves and other stakeholders external to the firm. The recent and dramatic increase in "micro" CSR research published in leading management journals has positioned this area as a mainstream topic of study, and exciting theoretical and empirical advances are beginning to emerge. We are therefore thrilled to invite scholars from fields such as OB, HR, I/O Psychology and related management disciplines to join us in submitting research in this topic area. Interested scholars will have additional opportunities to attend and meet at the developmental workshops at the Corporate Responsibility Conference from September 16 – 18, 2015 in Marseille, France http://www.crrconference.org/.
Abstract deadline: June 15, 2015 (not a prerequisite for submission of full manuscripts but highly recommended)
Manuscripts deadline: October 31, 2015
Submission to the special issue is not contingent upon attending the conference, but is recommended. Authors will be able to receive feedback at the conference as well as from the editors before submitting their full manuscripts to the special issue.
