    ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR IN HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT/ORGANIZATIONAL
    BEHAVIOR

    The Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University invites applications
    and nominations for an Assistant or Associate Professor in Human Resource
    Management/Organizational Behavior, effective Fall 2012. The rank of the
    appointment is open to assistant and associate professors, with qualified
    applicants at the associate professor level eligible for a Rawls Endowed
    Professorship. Appointment as a Rawls Professor requires an academically
    qualified scholar of national stature with credentials and experience
    sufficient to qualify for the rank of associate professor. Salary is
    competitive.

    Requirements: Ph.D. in Management or a closely related discipline (e.g., I/O
    Psychology) is required, with a focus that emphasizes human resource
    management and/or organizational behavior, with additional expertise in
    strategy and/or research methods. Additional requirements include the
    demonstrated ability to pursue scholarly activities independently and
    collaboratively, evidence of teaching excellence, and the ability to
    contribute to the human resource management and/or organizational behavior
    curriculum. Responsibilities include teaching courses in the undergraduate
    and graduate programs, publishing high-quality scholarly research, and
    participation in academic and professional activities. The appointee is
    encouraged to apply for external funding to support research endeavors.
    Appointment will be as an assistant or associate professor in the College’s
    Area of Management, depending on qualifications.

    Journal. Research and teaching are supported by the Institute for Leadership
    Research, the Center for Entrepreneurship and Family Business, and the Texas
    Center for Innovative Organizations. Our faculty has received many teaching
    honors and awards from the college, university and professional organizations.
