    Ben Tepper has a relatively recent review in Journal of Management on Abusive Supervision. 

     

    Tepper, B. J. (2007). Abusive supervision in work organizations: Review, synthesis and research

    agenda. Journal of Management, 33, 261-289. 

     

    Lawrence & Robinson also have a book chapter which reviews some relevant literature, also published in 2007 which I've attached.

    Jean Lipman-Blumen as done some great work on this suject.  Check out her chapter in the book titled: The Art of Followership.  She is one of the editors, and a chapter author.  Also, a wonderful read...The Allure of Toxic Leaders...
