    Colleagues:

I'm trying to find a good reading on conflict management styles, specifically, 5 distinct styles popularized by Kenneth Thomas, among others.  Ideally would be accessible to an MBA audience; think Harvard Business Review or AME style.   Would appreciate any suggestions.

    Thanks,

    Doug Pugh

    Hi Doug,

This isn't new, but it was written by Thomas for practitioners.

    Thomas, K. W. (1978). Introduction. California Management Review, 21(2), 56-60.

And I highly recommend supplementing it with this clip from "The Office." I use the clip in my core MBA class.

    Doug:

This may not be exactly what you're looking for in terms of a reading to assign, but Callanan and Perri (2009)'s Teaching Conflict Management Using a Scenario-Based Approach published in the Journal of Education for Business may be worth considering.
