*EAWOP Small Group Meeting: Age Cohorts at Work: Understanding and
Building Strength through Differences*

*Meeting description: *Demographic shifts in the workforce and the
changing nature of work are likely to heighten the salience of age
differences in the workplace. Given these changes, it is important to
obtain a greater understanding, both theoretically and practically, of
the role of age in the workplace and the research that is taking place
around the world. *Thus, one of the major goals of this meeting is to
understand the research programs taking place in various countries, and
from this to develop a broader research agenda.*
The meeting will be organized around the following themes, although
other research related to age at work is also welcome:

* MOTIVATION
* GENERATIONAL CONFLICT
* ORGANIZATIONAL AGE CLIMATE AND HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT
* CAREER PATTERNS OF OLDER WORKERS
