    The University of Hong Kong invites applications for a tenure-track appointment as Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor in the areas of Organizational Behaviour (OB) and Human Resources Management (HRM) in the School of Business, tenable from July 1, 2014 or as soon as possible thereafter on a three-year fixed-term basis with the possibility of renewal, or on tenure for exceptionally outstanding candidates. 

     

    Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in OB/HRM or related areas. Preference will be given to those with proven research and teaching excellence in OB/HRM areas. The appointee should be able to teach courses in undergraduate, master's, doctoral and executive programmes and is expected to commit to high-quality scholarly research, teaching and services. He/She will conduct an ongoing active research agenda and participate in the service opportunities within the Faculty of Business and Economics and the University.     A globally competitive remuneration package commensurate with the appointee's qualifications and experience will be offered. At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 15% of basic salary, as well as leave, and medical benefits. Housing benefits will be provided as applicable.
