Hi:  I am asking for help in locating cases that could be used in an undergraduate course on organizational psychology.  They should be challenging, but not overwhelming – something a small group of students could tackle over the course of several weeks, applying concepts and theories that are taught in my class.  Any suggestions would be welcome; thanks in advance.

    Hi Richard,

I'm in the process of migrating an internal wiki-case site to the "outside".  There are about 200 one page cases there written by MBA students on situations they encountered before they came back to school.  The topics cover lots of areas, individual, interpersonal, group/team, bosses, management issues, a whole host of issues.

I'll try to get that done in the next ten days if that would be a help.

    Regards,

    Hi Richard:

Harvard has some great "brief" cases.  These are aimed at undergrads – a little less lengthy and involved than their normal cases, but still meaty.  I've used Jensen Shoes. This one is lots of fun because there are two versions.  You can give the case from one perspective to half the class and from the other perspective to the other half.  Usually somewhere during the discussion a bright student will finally ask if they are all looking at the same situation.  It is  great discussion stimulator.  I've also used the Terracog Global and Thomas Green cases with great response from undergrads.

    Dick,

I most recently used Au Bon Pain on compensation, Henry Tam as a groups case, Jack Stack as a leadership case and Karen Leary as a perception case.  All can be readily found at Harvard.  I can get you the exact titles if you need more information.
