Please be reminded of the upcoming deadline for submissions to the 3rd Amsterdam Workshop on Social Networks and Organizations, entitled:
'Theoretical and Methodological Advances in Network Research', June 20-22, 2013 at VU University Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
Confirmed speakers include Dan Brass, Joe Labianca and Allesandro Lomi. Please see the call for papers. Paper proposals are due: April 30th, 2013, via Prof. dr. Peter Groenewegen – p.groenewegen@vu.nl
Preceding the workshop, we now also offer an extra bonus day of a hands-on Seminar: Social Network Techniques for Visualizing Open (Text-Based) Data, in an effort to provide a comprehensive workshop on Advances in Network Research. The seminar will be held on June 19, 2013 at VU University Amsterdam.
Registration is required for this seminar. NOTE: space is limited, and is on a first come, first serve basis. Please register via email with Adina Nerghes – adina.nerghes@vu.nl. VU Amsterdam Network Institute members can register for free, the fee for external attendees is 30 Euros.
