I am working on a project that's still relatively early-stage (Study 1 data collection underway) but which could fit nicely with a symposium on problem recognition, sensemaking, problem solving, or related areas. In brief, our work examines how people's problem-related abilities-recognizing problems, sensemaking, etc.-is influenced by the capabilities they have.
