Associate Professor of Sociology
The University of Missouri-Kansas City seeks an associate professor of sociology to start in the Fall 2011. The Sociology Department has strong undergraduate and master's programs in sociology as well as a robust and growing anthropology minor. The scholar filling this position will teach core courses in sociology including undergraduate and graduate theory and research methods, advise students, and serve the mission of the University. Research area is open. Required Qualifications: A Ph.D. in sociology; demonstrated teaching excellence and research productivity; Preferred: Demonstrated success in grant funding.
