The Organization Behavior Department at the Boston University School of Management will be recruiting faculty for a position as a tenure-track professor. Applicants applying with research and teaching abilities in one of the following areas will be given priority in the review process.
Leadership and Organizational Change - Managing complex change processes in organizations, leadership and followership, leading teams, HR leadership.
Macro Organizational Behavior - Institutional and cultural perspectives; sustainability and environmental strategies; international management
Health Sector Management - Health system change; leadership capacity development; innovation; bio-pharma or health service delivery expertise; organizing for quality and safety
Nonprofit Management - Management of nonprofit organizations; sustainable social ventures; financing of social innovation; scaling social enterprise organizations; social entrepreneurship
Positions in each area will be located in the Organization Behavior Department with links to various Institutes and Centers at the School of Management, for example, Human Resources Policy Institute, Executive Development Roundtable, Boston University Institute for Leading in a Dynamic Economy (BUILDE), Institute for Global Work, Institute for Technology Entrepreneurship and Commercialization (ITEC) or Center for Nonprofit Management and Leadership. Each center is sponsored by corporations and government organizations and focuses research and application activities in their respective area. Those who join the faculty may be partially funded by and actively engaged in the activities of the centers, as well designing classes and instructional material in their respective areas.
