Apologies for cross-postings
Dear colleagues,
A research team at Texas A&M University is conducting a meta-analysis on Williams and Anderson's (1991) measure of performance. We have already searched the published literature and now, as a final step, we are seeking unpublished papers and data (e.g., doctoral dissertations, unpublished manuscripts or datasets, in-press papers, conference presentations) that have used the Williams and Anderson (1991) scale. If you have conducted research using this scale, either in whole or in part, we would be grateful if you would be willing to share this data with us.
Specifically, we are looking for correlations between the items in Williams and Anderson's (1991) measure of OCB and in-role behavior. The information below is most crucial for our purposes:
1. Item-level statistics (e.g., means and SDs) for the Williams & Anderson (1991) measure
2. Sample size
3. A table of the correlations* among the items from the Williams & Anderson (1991) scale
4. The order in which you administered the items
*If you prefer, instead of item-level correlations we could use raw, item-level data for the items in the Williams & Anderson measure (e.g., excel file, SPSS file).
As a convenient way to provide the information, a word document is attached on which you can enter the descriptive statistics and correlations.
Please send papers, studies, correlation tables, or data to performance.meta@yahoo.com. Any questions or clarifications can be sent to this same email address. It would be greatly appreciated if you could send this information before Wednesday November 24, 2010. If you think that you have relevant data, but cannot get to it before this deadline, please contact us and we can work with you individually to get the data. Thank you for your time!
Thank you very much,
