Greetings Colleagues,
The pre-doctoral consortium is a new event which is scheduled to be held at the upcoming SMA meeting in Oct-Nov, 2012. It aims to provide an opportunity to explore, to those undergraduate and graduate students, , who are committed to, or are seriously considering, earning a doctoral degree. Luckily, we still have a few spots left to be filled, but they may not last long!
Please think about your own undergraduate and graduate students who might be suitable for this exciting opportunity. Also please feel free to forward this call to any colleagues that you feel might have students that would be interested. As an added incentive, every selected participant will receive $500 as a stipend to attend the consortium. Lunch is also provided.
