    Hi all,

I will be assisting in teaching an OB MBA class in the Spring. I was hoping to get some recommendations regarding a nice "essentials" textbook, one that isn't too long, but includes a good overview of Human Behavior in Organizations. It would also be helpful to see syllabi and get any advice on interesting class activities.

    Thanks,

    Sam

    Hello Sam,

Here's a syllabus for Managing Yourself and Others, which is not the classic OB course, but certainly covers a lot of the elements.  I don't use a textbook, but rather a series of articles, cases and a couple of popular press books.  Good luck!

    All the best,
    Margaret

    Hi Sam,

Here are the two syllabi I use with Level Three Leadership which I believe covers key leadership/management/OB essentials from a practical (not survey of research) point of view.   I hope you'll find them helpful.

Let me know if you have any questions.

    Cheers,

    Jim
