    The <st1:placetype w:st="on">University</st1:placetype> of <st1:placename w:st="on">British Columbia</st1:placename> – <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placename w:st="on">Sauder</st1:placename> <st1:placetype w:st="on">School</st1:placetype></st1:place> of Business

     

    Applications are invited for a tenure-track position in the Organizational Behaviour and

    Human Resources (OBHR) Division of the <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placename w:st="on">Sauder</st1:placename> <st1:placetype w:st="on">School</st1:placetype></st1:place> of Business at the University

    of <st1:state w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">British Columbia</st1:place></st1:state>. The anticipated appointment date is July 1, 2011, but an earlier start

    date is possible. The rank of this position is at the senior assistant professor or junior

    associate professor level (roughly 3 to 8 years beyond the Ph.D.). The position is subject

    to final budgetary approval.

     

    The OBHR division is composed of faculty members with specialties in organizational

    behavior, organizational theory, human resources and labor relations, who come from a

    variety of disciplinary backgrounds. Applicants from all disciplinary backgrounds

    working in any of these areas are encouraged to apply. In addition to focusing on one of

    the division's specialties, strong training in research methodology and an ability to teach

    research methods would be an asset.

     

    Other required qualifications include a strong commitment to teaching; a very strong

    research orientation as indicated by an active research program and record of publications

    in top journals; and an ability to supervise doctoral students. Salary will be commensurate

    with the applicant's qualifications and experience. UBC hires on the basis of merit and is
