My colleagues and I are organizing a symposium for the upcoming SIOP conference on managerial interpersonal/social skills, and would like to invite additional papers for the symposium. Our paper is a qualitative analysis of open-ends survey data from directors of MBA programs across the U.S., as well as structured interviews with a diverse group of managers, both of which involved asking respondents which sets of skills are important for interpersonal facilitation and effectiveness. This is part of a larger study on managerial interpersonal skills (please feel free to see the link below in my email signature).
