    CLINICAL PROFESSOR OF MANAGEMENT Department of Management and Organization The Pennsylvania State University Smeal College of Business University Park, PA The Department of Management and Organization in the Smeal College of Business at The Pennsylvania State University seeks a full-time Clinical Professor of Management. Job Description/Qualifications: The designation “Clinical Professor” represents a multi-year contract (non-tenure track) appointment in the Department. Primary responsibilities will include teaching undergraduate courses (18 credit hours/year), advising students, and building corporate and alumni relationships for our new Human Resource Management concentration. Opportunities to work with MBA, Executive MBA, and doctoral students are also possible. Rank is open (assistant/associate/full clinical professor) and will depend upon experience and qualifications. Candidates are expected to have strong commitment and ability to develop our Human Resource Management concentration and to teach a variety of Human Resources and other Management courses (such as Introduction to Management, Organizational Behavior, Strategic Management, International Management, and/or Business Ethics). This position is an ideal appointment for individuals wishing to concentrate on teaching and related activities such as mentoring and advising. Research productivity is not expected, but clinical professors are welcome to participate in research symposia and pursue applied research in management, pedagogy, or case writing according to the individual’s interests. Resources for travel and professional development are commensurate with tenure-track faculty. A Ph.D. in Management from an AACSB-accredited school or related area (e.g., I/O Psychology) is required. In addition, an MBA degree and work experience in human resource management is preferred. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications.
