    Dear colleagues,

Lara Tiedens and I are conducting a meta-analysis on perceptions of dominant behavior. If you have work on this topic that is unpublished or in press, in dissertation form, or has been published but that we may have missed, we would appreciate it if you could send it to us at mjwilliams@stanford.edu or tiedens_larissa@gsb.stanford.edu. Electronic copies are preferred, but hard copies may be sent to the postal address below, or faxed to 650-723-0788 (attn: Melissa Williams).

We are evaluating all forms of dominant or assertive behavior, including both verbal and nonverbal. The primary criteria for inclusion is that the study include either a manipulation or a measurement of dominance behavior (such as in the participant, a confederate, a target, or a vignette), and some measure of evaluation of the person behaving in a dominant fashion (e.g., trait ratings, liking, compliance, etc.).

If we can provide more information, please let us know. Apologies for any cross-postings.

    Thanks,

    Melissa Williams / Lara Tiedens
