Lara Tiedens and I are conducting a meta-analysis on perceptions of dominant behavior. We are evaluating all forms of dominant or assertive behavior, including both verbal and nonverbal. The primary criteria for inclusion is that the study include either a manipulation or a measurement of dominance behavior (such as in the participant, a confederate, a target, or a vignette), and some measure of evaluation of the person behaving in a dominant fashion (e.g., trait ratings, liking, compliance, etc.).
