Dear colleagues,
I am preparing a new course on creativity and innovation in
organizations. The course is intended for undergraduate (Master level)
Psychology students. In my view, it should focus on fundamental and
applied research on the psychological (cognitive, motivational, and
social), rather than organizational processes or structures. However,
the organizational side of things should of course not be totally ignored.
I am now looking for a good course text, and I wonder if anyone has any
specific recommendations. One book I am considering is Zhou and
Shalley's recent Handbook of Organizational Creativity, although that is
a rather expensive book to use as a course text. Paulus and Nijstad's
Group Creativity is another potential candidate. There must be more out
there, though. All suggestions are more than welcome!
Kind regards
