RUCKS DEPARTMENT OF MANAGEMENT
LOUISIANA STATE UNIVERSITY
The LOUISIANA STATE UNIVERSITY Rucks Department of Management invites applications for an anticipated Assistant Professor of Organizational Behavior/Human Resources Management (with secondary teaching interests in Multinational Management) tenure-track faculty opening, beginning Fall, 2011. A Ph.D./DBA in Management or a related area is required. The Department seeks applicants with a demonstrated record of excellence in teaching and research or potential for excellence. Primary duties include: teach undergraduate and graduate-level courses, engage in academic research and publishing, and undertake assignments normally associated with teaching, scholarship, and university service.
Located in Baton Rouge, LSU is the flagship university for Louisiana and holds land-, sea-, and space-grant status. The Rucks Department of Management and the Ourso College of Business provide collegial and financial support for academic research and teaching. The Department offers B.S. and Ph.D. programs of study and maintains strong ties with the local business community. Baton Rouge provides numerous cultural and recreational amenities that enhance the quality of life for area residents.
