It is news to me that the MBTI is a "robust tool" that is "valid." That
it may be reliable is another issue (and it could be reliably wrong).
For what, precisely, is this tool valid?
The MBTI is almost wholly ignored by the individual-differences and
industrial psychology research literature; perhaps most research
psychologists have somehow got it wrong. There is not much to support
for the validity of the supposed personality "types", particularly with
respect to predictive validity in industrial settings. At best, this
instrument is very controversial (and much more research would be needed
to establish its validity). The usual story I hear from proponents of
the MBTI is that the MBTI is apparently useful to stimulate reflection
and help understand oneself and others. Well, if that is the case, then
surely there must be literature evaluating this intervention in a
large-scale study, using random assignment, and predicting outcomes like
individual or team functioning performance and the like? I know of no
such studies published in serious journals.
Furthermore, given the fact that this instrument has been around for
awhile, it is surprising to see that there is no heavily cited paper in
a top-tier psychology journal attesting to its validity. There are a lot
of claims, though, from the publishers and resellers of the instruments
as well as from consultants who use it.

The DISC instruments is in a similar boat, though one that is smaller.
So, Alfredo, I would recommend that you search in the Web of Science or
PscychINFO for tools have a lot of research behind them and then I would
identify a publisher that can provide you with this tool.

John Antonakis
