The School of Business Administration at Portland State University seeks exceptional candidates for a tenure track position in organizational behavior and/or human resource management beginning Fall 2011. The ideal candidate should have (1) an earned doctorate in business or related field with an emphasis in organizational behavior and/or human resource management (advanced ABD candidates will be considered); (2) evidence or promise of a strong and innovative program of research in relevant areas of organizational behavior and/or human resource management; (3) demonstration of teaching excellence in organizational behavior and/or human resource management courses; and (4) a strong and continuing commitment to both research and teaching.
Portland State's School of Business is AACSB-accredited, has a strong commitment to both research and teaching, serves over 3,400 students, and grants more graduate degrees than any other university in Oregon. We offer a stimulating, collegial environment that values a diversity of research approaches and topics, and supports research efforts through the provision of graduate assistantships, travel funds, summer support, and a teaching load conducive to effective scholarship. The School of Business maintains strong ties with industry partners, providing ample research opportunities.
