    Hi all,
I am interested in measuring union avoidance attitudes among employees in an organization, without mentioning the word "union". I have searched for such an instrument and have not been successful. Is anyone aware of such a scale? I appreciate any help!

    Thanks

    Aaron,

I've done some work in this area and I am not familiar with a scale
that fits your description. Someone else may know of one, but if you
cannot find one then maybe this is an opportunity to develop a new
scale! Good luck with your research.

Aaron: You may wish to try to discuss this with Kenexa, the global survey research consultancy, their "Associate Relations Index"- a group of normed questions that purport to measure union vulnerability based on employee responses to questions that do not mention unions and that are often included in broader engagement surveys. I am not sure how much they will be willing to share for academic purposes.
