The movie "The Pajama Game" with Doris Day is quite interesting from a more historical point of view - it is inspired by Kurt Lewin's and his followers collaboration with Harwood Pajama factory. Doris Day plays the role of head of the union's grievance committee. The movie may certainly bring up discussions about gender issues as well. But I must add that I found it a bit "too much" and decided not to use it in my class on bachelor level. It may be more amusing than a source of learning. But the whole Harwood organization development and some of the articles from the early 1950s that describe this development are surely linked to the title of your session "Creating a more open work environment". The movie may make a good introduction to a historical overview of the OD school and as such be more suited for an advanced level with plenty of time to discuss the historical contextual changes and the changes of what is political correct today compared to the 1950s.

In Mike Leigh's Topsy Turvy (1999) there is a fascinating sequence after the halfway point where the members of the D'Oyly Carte opera company band together to convince WS Gilbert (Jim Broadbent) not to fire, as he plans to, the popular but less-talented Richard Temple (Timothy Spall). A lovely exposition of gentle collective action and of the reaction of a wise manager who puts group cohesiveness ahead of maximum individual results.
