Faculty Position in Organizational Behavior
The Department of Business Administration invites applications for a tenure-track position in Management, with expertise in organizational behavior, beginning September 2012. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior, Management, or a related field or anticipate completing their degree on or before September 1, 2012. The primary teaching responsibility will be in management and organizational behavior, at the undergraduate, MBA, and Executive MBA levels. The ideal candidate will be pursuing a high-quality research program with the objective of publishing their work in the top management journals and will also be able to demonstrate the potential for high-quality teaching. Candidates who currently hold tenure-track appointments at the Assistant Professor level are encouraged to apply; such candidates will have demonstrated a record of publication in the top management journals and evidence of highly effective teaching in both graduate and undergraduate courses. Salary, benefits, and support are competitive with other AACSB-accredited schools.
The University of Delaware is located on a beautiful campus in Newark, Delaware, less than an hour from both Philadelphia and Baltimore, and just over two hours from New York City and Washington, D.C. The University of Delaware is a well-endowed public institution with selective admissions, resulting in a student body of about 17,000 undergraduate and 3,500 graduate students. The Department of Business Administration is part of the Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics, which serves approximately 2,900 undergraduate majors and over 600 graduate students. The College supports a full- and part-time on-campus MBA program in addition to executive and on-site MBA programs. All degree programs are fully accredited by the AACSB. The College is housed in a two-building complex with state-of-the-art computing and teaching facilities.
