Visiting Professor in Management

Positions Available: One visiting instructor/professor in management (1.0 FTE)
Appointment Date: Beginning on September 16, 2010
Starting Salary: Competitive
Qualifications: PhD in Management or closely allied field; Able to teach core undergrad management; Ongoing research agenda, relating to (preferably) sustainability and/or close alignment with active management research faculty at PSU
This is a one-year visiting position in management with a reduced teaching load. All relevant areas of management research and teaching will be considered, with preference given to individuals either actively engaged in sustainability research or interested in learning and collaborating with sustainability researchers. This position provides a unique opportunity to come to a university with leading sustainability programs and faculty. Portland State University's School of Business Administration has received international recognition by the Aspen Institute as a leader in integrating social and environmental stewardship issues into the curriculum and research.
