    Dear OB/IO scholars:

     

    We are organizing a symposium on the relationships among leadership, identity, and identification for SIOP 2013 conference, and still have room for one or two additional papers for this symposium. Possible topics include: the effect of leadership on follower identity development, the role of identity in developing leadership, the competitive and/or complementary roles of various types of identities in leadership effectiveness/managerial effectiveness, and other relevant topics. In case you have ongoing research that are consistent with this theme and are interested in participating in the symposium, please email Weichun Zhu (wzhu@psu.edu) or John Sosik (jjs20@gv.psu.edu) as soon as possible. 

     

    As you know, the deadline for the SIOP 2013 conference submission is September 12th (5:00PM, U.S. Eastern Time).  We would appreciate your quick response if you are interested, and we are very much looking forward to working with you!
