    ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR-STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT

    The Department of Management in the College of Business at Central Washington University seeks applicants for a tenure track Assistant or Associate Professor of Management to teach Strategic Management beginning in September 16, 2010 or sooner.  The position is located at in Ellensburg.  The successful candidate will teach strategic management (the capstone course in the department), principles of management, and other management related courses.  Faculty members are expected to advise students, produce peer reviewed research in their fields, and provide service to the university, college, department, and community.  A Ph.D. in Management from an AACSB accredited university is preferred although strong candidates nearing completion of the dissertation will be considered.  Evidence of teaching effectiveness is desired as is evidence of the potential to produce peer reviewed published research.  Screening will begin December 1, 2009 and continue until the position is filled.  For further details, see the complete position announcement at https://jobs.cwu.edu <jobs.cwu.edu/applicants/Central?quickFind=51954>
