  • 1.  Compilation of suggestions : Class activities on Emotions in the workplace

    Posted 10-12-2009 09:51

    Dear colleagues,

Last week I asked for suggestions of class activities to teach the importance of emotions in the workplace. I would like to express my gratitude to a number of colleagues who offered very helpful references and activities. I think I am all set for this class and learned a lot in the process.

Attached is a compilation of the suggestions I received, hoping it will help other colleagues.

    Best regards,

    Ariane Ollier-Malaterre

To those interested in emotions, the biggest problem in this field is to understand what emotions are which cannot be done without introspection (a forbidden method!). For those interested I wrote a chapter on this in my edited book, Handbook of Principles of Organizational Behavior (Wiley, 2009). Comments welcome
