Hi everyone,
Apologies for cross-postings.
My students and I are interested in acquiring unpublished papers on gender differences in (or gender's correlations with) several types of work-related behavior:
-misuse of time at work
-computer/internet misuse at work
-alcohol/drug misuse or impairment at work
-property-related counterproductive work behavior -purely physical workplace aggression
-purely non-physical--that is, verbal, "psychological," etc.--workplace aggression (e.g., incivility, non-sexual harassment)
-workplace sexual harassment
-theft from other employees
Note that we are focusing on surveys of perpetrators, rather than those of victims, observers, etc. For example, although there is a large literature on the experience of workplace sexual harassment from the victim's perspective, the present research focuses instead on the PERPETRATION of sexual harassment.
If you have conducted research that includes a relationship (a correlation coefficient, another effect size such as Cohen's d) or a test of significance (such as a t-test or an F-test) between gender and one of the above forms of behavior (or some closely-related form of behavior), I would be delighted if you would be willing to email the relevant papers/reports/chapters/etc. to me at:
rdalal@gmu.edu
We have already searched the published literature as well as recent AOM and SIOP conference programs. Thus, we are currently looking for unpublished papers that have not recently been presented at AOM or SIOP, as well as published papers that may not be easily accessible through common keyword searches on databases such as PsycInfo and Google Scholar. If you are uncertain as to whether your paper falls within the boundaries of our research, please feel free to email me the paper anyway. :)
Thanks a lot,
Reeshad
