  • 1.  Self-monitoring Personality Measure

    Hi Everyone

I am looking for a validated, short, and preferably work-setting oriented Self-Monitoring personality scale. The items of Snyder & Gangestad (1986) and Lennox & Wolfe (1984) are too long and too many for our study.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Hi Salar,

The shortest scale I've seen is a 12-item self-monitoring measure from marketing:

O'Cass, A. (2000). A psychometric evaluation of a revised version of the Lennox and Wolfe revised self-monitoring scale. Psychology & Marketing, 17, 397–419.

    Best wishes on your research,
