    Hi:
     
    A while back as part of a listserv I believe, I received the two attached spreadsheets reflecting the 2007 Impact Factors for "Management" journals and for "Applied Psychology" journals.
     
    1. Does anyone know of the source of these lists (what cite would one use if referencing these lists)?
    2. Does anyone know of similar lists for 2008?

    Attached is the impact factor list made available in June 2009 by ISI. It includes the Management, Applied Psychology, and other categories as well.

    Hi Brian

     

    I am the culprit.  Here are equivalent lists for 2008 as  a multi-page Excel spreadsheet with pages for Management, Business, and Applied Psych.  They can be found in the Thomson-Reuters Journal Citations Report website.

     

    Note that there are now several additional measures of impact, based on a 5-year time horizon.  These are more applicable to the Social Sciences.  For my recent comments on impact measures, see Ashkanasy, N. M. (2009). JOB is doing OK; but what is "Impact", anyway? Journal of Organizational Behavior, 30, 681-683.

    They may be from Bill Starbuck.  Google Bill Starbuck journal impact ratings and you'll see his webpage at NYU with the journal ratings at the bottom.  - John
