    Dear Academy members,

    We would like to invite you to join us for our caucus entitled Field
    experiments: Strategies for gaining access, avoiding pitfalls and getting
    published which will be held on Monday August 10 at 1:15 to 2:45 in the
    Hyatt Regency Chicago, Skyway 284.

    The purpose of this caucus is to facilitate a discussion about ways to
    encourage researchers to use more of the strong research methods such as
    longitudinal experiments in field settings and with simulated teams.

    Who: Panel participants include Dov Eden, Gary Latham, Chuck Seifert and
    Gary Yukl

    Our caucus will be presented in a panel discussion format. Panel
    participants will include Dov Eden, Gary Latham, Chuck Seifert and Gary
    Yukl – all prominent researchers who have conducted and published field
    experiments in organizational behavior and human resource management.
    These panelists will discuss problems and best practices for gaining
    access to organizations, designing field experiments to avoid the pitfalls
    inherent in them, and gaining acceptance for publication of the research.
