    Dear all,

    I am a PhD student doing research into the power dynamics shaping the emergence of hybrid management systems in Sub-Saharan African countries. I was wondering if any of you knew of a tool to quantitatively measure power dynamics. Basically, I am looking at how context shapes management practices in NGOs in some African countries. The two questions I am interested in are, first, what are the power dynamics at play and, second, how do they exert influence on the process of hybridization. I would be grateful to receive any info on where to look for a scale (if one exists) which could provide answers to either one of these questions or both.
