University of Zaragoza invites applications and nominations for the position
of Associate Professor of Psychology in the Faculty of Human & Social
Sciences (Campus of Teruel) beginning September 2009.
Department seeks individuals with a strong commitment to and competency for
university teaching, with broad teaching interests and the ability to teach
undergraduate and/or graduate courses on Social Psychology as well as Work
and Organizational Psychology.
Requirements:
Candidates for the position should possess the recognition by the Spanish
National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation ANECA as 'Profesor
Titular' in the state university system.
The University of Zaragoza - Campus of Teruel, a major public university
committed to academic excellence, is located in the historical city of
Teruel, World Heritage Centre and capital of Teruel Province, it has a
population of 34,240. The campus is in a pleasant neighborhood on Teruel's
north side. University of Zaragoza - Campus of Teruel has a student
enrollment of approximately 5,000 and is one of the main campuses in the
5-campus University of Zaragoza System.
The selected candidate will integrate in a young group of teachers coming
from different universities around the world, in a growing Department with
good possibilities for teaching and research. The Degree in Psychology
states small groups (65 students per year, 20 per class), Problem Based
Learning, and bilingual Spanish-English teaching.
