Dear Members and Friends of IACCM,
I have the great pleasure to announce the publication of a new academic journal in Cross-cultural Management. After a long time of intensive preparation the first online issue of the new
European Journal of Cross-cultural Competence and Management (EJCCM)
is now available at the following address: www.inderscience.com/ejccm
The EJCCM is the new publication of the IACCM. It will be published quarterly in an online and print version in English language. For members of IACCM the online issues are included in your membership fees. The EJCCM will cover the following topics
- Multinational work teams
- Inter-/cross-cultural careers
- Inter-/cross-cultural management
- Inter-/cross-cultural knowledge management
- Inter-/cross-cultural communication and relationship management
- Inter-/cross-cultural issues in international business
- Total submersion: expatriates and other internationals and their cultural re-entry problems
- Inter-/cross-cultural competence: on hybrids, mongrels and translations
- Global shifts in values and norms; tectonics of cultural change
- Professional identities and organisational evolution: paradoxes of new individualism
- Inter-/cross-cultural barriers in Central and Eastern Europe
- New methods of cultural comparison
- The different aspects and the development of intercultural competence
- Intercultural training methodology
All contributions undergo a double-blind review process. As a special feature the EJCCM has a section called the Practitioner's Corner in which applied articles relevant also for people outside the immediate academic community will be published. This section is the result of a cooperation with SIETAR Europa.
