    TENURE TRACK ASSISTANT PROFESSOR POSITION

The Department of Management at the University of Georgia is seeking
qualified applicants for a tenure track faculty position at the assistant
professor rank, beginning August of 2010. Filling the position is subject
to final funding approval by the University of Georgia and the Board of
Regents of the state of Georgia. We are seeking individuals with a strong
commitment to and ability for excellent scholarly research in either
Organizational Behavior or Strategic Management. Given the integrative
nature of the department, our preference is for candidates with broad
teaching interests. Applicants should send a vita, examples of research
(limited to the last five years), and a list of courses taught and teaching
evaluations, and should arrange for 4 letters of recommendation.

Address all material to Ms. Allison Davis (adavis@terry.uga.edu), Department
of Management, The University of Georgia, 401 Brooks Hall, Athens, GA
30602-6256. Queries should be addressed to Dr. Allen C. Amason at
aamason@terry.uga.edu; telephone calls may be made to 706-542-3700.
Applications received by October 2, 2009 are assured full consideration.

Management may be found at www.terry.uga.edu. The University of Georgia is
an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action Institution.

    LECTURER POSITION

The Department of Management at the University of Georgia is seeking
qualified applicants for a non-tenure-track faculty position, at the
Lecturer rank, beginning August 2010. The position is subject to final
funding approval by the University of Georgia and the Board of Regents. We
seek individuals with a strong commitment to and competency for superior
teaching. We prefer candidates with broad teaching interests but the
ability to teach Introduction to Management as well as Operations Management
is a plus. The successful candidate will also be involved in departmental
service and student mentoring. A Ph.D. in management or a comparable field
is required and the position is renewable based on performance.
    Compensation is competitive.
