OB Colleagues:
Personnel Psychology has just "published" its first virtual issue (http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/journal/10.1111/%28ISSN%291744-6570/homepage/virtual_issue_on_meta-analysis.htm). This issue covers the topic of meta-analysis and includes a number of the meta-analyses published in the journal over the last two years; all articles are available for download free of charge (as are a handful of "classic" meta-analyses published in the journal). Listed below is information from the website, including links to specific articles. Apologies for any cross-postings!

Virtual Issue on Meta-Analysis
Personnel Psychology publishes psychological research centered around people at work, with articles spanning the full range of human resource management and organizational behavior topics. The use of meta-analytic techniques has established itself as a powerful way of summarizing and extending research in a given domain. Personnel Psychology has a long tradition of publishing meta-analytic reviews, starting with seminal research by Schmidt and Hunter (Schmidt & Hunter, 1978; Schmidt, Hunter, Pearlman, & Shane, 1979) and continuing with influential research on such varied topics as personnel selection (Barrick & Mount, 1991), work design (Fried & Ferris, 1987), organizational citizenship behavior (Organ & Ryan, 1995), fit (Kristof-Brown, Zimmerman, & Johnson, 2005), and teams (LePine, Piccolo, Jackson, Mathieu, & Saul, 2008). This tradition continues, with many important meta-analytic articles published in the last two years. In this virtual issue, we highlight these more recent meta-analytic contributions published or in press at Personnel Psychology.
These meta-analyses are notable for their breadth of coverage and quality of their contributions. They represent the full range of topics published in Personnel Psychology, including such diverse topics as work-family conflict, personality measurement, recruiting, training, leadership, and work engagement as well as covering substantive methodological issues. In this inaugural virtual issue we wanted to showcase these more recent additions to the scholarly literature by highlighting the meta-analytic reviews that have been published in Personnel Psychology over the last two years. These articles have been made freely available in the hope that scholars everywhere can be introduced to this significant research.
