Hi Gazi,
You could consider using the Cable & Judge (1994) measure of risk aversion or use a portion of the Jackson Personality Index (JPI) to assess risk aversion. It is my understanding that the JPI is not free (you have to pay to use it). I have used the Cable and Judge measure and found it very helpful. It is an eight item measure of risk aversion, which is based on original scales developed by Slovic (1972) and Gomez-Mejia and Balkin (1989). Here is the reference for the measure:
Cable, D.M., T.A. Judge. 1994. Pay preferences and job search decisions: A person-organization perspective. Personnel Psych. 47 317-348.
Good luck!

Subject: [OB-LIST] Risk aversion measurement
Hello All,
I have been having some trouble finding validaded instruments measuring generalized risk-aversion. I know the literature has often used decision making scenarios in the behavioral-experimental style to assess risk aversion, but I was wondering if any of you know of scale-type measures of this construct.
Thanks!
