    In reviewing the LMX literature a bit more, I think Gary Greguras and John Fords multidimensional subordinate LMX scale is a better "fit" to examine Dienesch and Liden's LMX process model (Greguras, G. & Ford, J. (2006). An examination of the multideminsionality of supervisor and subordinate perceptions of leader-member exchanges. Journal of Occupational Psychology, 433-465.
     
    The instrument correlates well to LMX and LMXM instruments.

    The LMX scale seems to change every year--but these items seem all to pertain to empowerment (delegation). LMX used to be far broader in content. E.L.
