    Dear all,

I beg all of us, members of the network, to use self restriction when sending a message to all the members.

In many cases, the best way to give an appropriate feedback to the members is NOT to ask everyone to respond, but to post you own e-mail address, ask for relevant answers to be sent to you, and promise that after a week or so you will post a summary for the benefit of all (e.g. the recent case of Business schools named for women).

Yes, sometime we have great and lovely discussions on issues of relevance to many. Then it is fine to 'reply to all' – but even so, please think twice – do you really believe that hundreds of busy scholars need to read this? Maybe just respond to the specific person? Otherwise, when we exhaust a subject, let us leave it.
