    Dear All,

     

    Please find attached the full Call for Papers for the 17th Annual Conference of the International Employment Relations Association conference to be held in Bangkok, Thailand from 30th June to 1st July this year. Please feel free to forward this email to any colleagues who you think may be interested in information about this conference or may have a relevant manuscript to submit.

     

    The conference theme is Advancing the Quality of HRM and HRD in the Global Economy and the following tracks are available:

    ·         HRD and HRM policy

    ·         Organisational culture and power

    ·         ER processes: collective and individual

    ·         Community resource development

    ·         HRM outcomes: empowerment, job satisfaction and productivity

    ·         Workplace learning

    ·         Values, politics, power, ethics and HRD

    ·         Employment relations at public policy level

    ·         HR and corporate sustainability

    ·         Leadership

    ·         Other relevant issues

     

    Comparative studies, focused upon different sectors such as public and private, or different countries, are especially welcome.  Papers addressing the conference theme or its sub-themes are invited.

     

    Abstracts and/or full papers (refereed) must be received by

    30th April, 2009

    Notification of acceptance or otherwise of papers can be expected by third week of May

    Papers not accepted in the refereed section may be considered for non-refereed section

    Abstracts and/or full papers (non-refereed) must be received by

    30th May, 2009

     

     
     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     


    Note:

    ·         Abstracts and papers received before 30th April will be refereed prior to the conference.

    ·         Papers submitted for refereeing will be double-blind refereed.

    ·         All papers submitted for refereeing must be original works, not published previously.

    ·         All refereed and non-refereed abstracts and papers will be electronically published on disk.

    ·         All refereed papers will be considered for publication in the IERA journals, the International Employment Relations Review (IERR) and the International Journal of Employment Studies (IJES).

    ·         All abstracts and papers are accepted conditional upon at least one of the authors being a paid registrant for the conference.

    ·         Authors are limited to a maximum of two papers.
