Many thanks to those who have contributed. Attached is a compilation of the suggestions, many of which I will follow. I should also mention that the topic "The field of OB" will be the first of several topics included, others are "Work motivation and job design", "Learning", "Perception and communication", "indiviudal differences", "Groups and teams", "The employee-organization relationship". The objective is to give the students brief reviews (narrative and meta-analytic if available) and then focus on 3 to 4 novel or late contributions that are represenative of each topic:

    Dear all

I'm preparing a phd course on contemporary topics in OB. Does anyone have references to articles that may be used to describe the field in a broader sense under the heading "The field of OB". I'm going to use the following, but need more: Cascio, W. F. & Aguinis, H. 2008. Research in industrial and organizational psychology from 1963 to 2007: Changes, choices, and trends. Journal of Applied Psychology, 93(5): 1062-1081.
