Dear Colleagues,

Our research team at the University of Illinois at Chicago (Drs. Bob Liden and Jenny Hoobler, and Jasmine Hu) is conducting a meta-analysis examining the antecedents and outcomes of abusive supervision. These antecedents may include, but are not limited to, characteristics of the leader and the subordinate, and situational and cognitive determinants such as a climate for organizational deviance, or psychological contract violation. Outcomes include interpersonal and organizational deviance. Finally, we are also interested in the relationship between abusive supervision and other leadership approaches such as LMX, transformational leadership, contingent leadership, ethical leadership, authoritarian leadership, and management by exception.

Our hope is that you may be willing to contribute any unpublished works that report correlations between abusive supervision and the aforementioned variables. You may send any conference presentations, dissertations, unpublished papers (or data), or in-press papers that you are willing to share via e-mail, hard copy, or fax. Contact information for this is below.

Thank you in advance for your time and assistance with this research!

    Sincerely,

    Morgan Wilson
