The John F. Welch College of Business at Sacred Heart University anticipates (pending budgetary approval) a full-time, tenure track faculty opening in the Department of Management for Academic Year 2009-2010. Rank is open and commensurate with experience. The position requires a doctorate or ABD status with dissertation near completion. Experience teaching management, business ethics, strategy or entrepreneurship is desirable. Candidates with excellent teaching records, relevant business experience and a demonstrated capability to produce scholarly work publishable in refereed journals are encouraged to apply. The Welch College of Business, an AACSB accredited school, offers undergraduate degrees in Accounting, Business Administration, Business Economics, Finance, and Sport Management as well as an MBA degree. An undergraduate marketing major is anticipated beginning AY2009-2010. Classes are offered in Fairfield and Stamford, CT; the MBA degree is also offered in Luxembourg.
