    TENURE-TRACK POSITION IN MANAGEMENT


    The Earl N. Phillips School of Business at High Point University (www.HighPoint.edu) invites applications for a tenure-track position in management starting August, 2015. The position requires both undergraduate and graduate (MBA) teaching and maintaining an active research agenda. Rank and salary are dependent upon qualifications.

     

    High Point University is a private institution that is experiencing tremendous growth and is undergoing a multi-million dollar transformation that has resulted in: 49 new buildings (two for the Phillips School of Business); 176% increase in student enrollment; 127% increase in faculty; and 302% increase in campus acreage. HPU is ranked #1 in "America's Best Colleges," published by U.S. News & World Report (#1 - Best Regional College in the South; #1 - Best Undergraduate Teaching in Regional Colleges in the South; #1 - Up and Coming School in the South).

    Requirements include: Ph.D. in field/related field; ABD near completion will be considered; commitment to quality teaching; and an active research agenda. Applicants are expected to meet Scholarly Academic (SA) AACSB requirements. The ideal candidate will deliver high quality research and teaching in Operations Management and/or Strategic Management.
