    Clinical Faculty Position in Management


    The Management Department at the University of St. Thomas' Opus College of Business invites applications for a full-time, clinical faculty position in the area of Management, beginning in September 2015. Clinical appointments will be without tenure and are not tenure track appointments. Primary duties of the position include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in the area of management.

     

    The University of St. Thomas' Opus College of Business ranks in the top quartile of all AACSB-accredited graduate business programs listed in the most recent "Best Graduate Schools" rankings published by U.S. News & World Report.  The College employs a mission-driven approach to management education and delivers a diverse portfolio of offerings including undergraduate, full-time and evening MBA, and specialized graduate business programs. The Management Department consists of 17 faculty members with a range of teaching and research expertise at the macro- and micro- levels of management who share a dedication to the College's mission and desire for strong working relationships.     At a minimum, qualifications include (1) a Ph.D., Ed.D., MBA or Master's in an area of management (e.g., Organizational Behavior, Human Resources Management, Strategic Management, etc.) or another closely related field; (2) prior experience teaching management courses at undergraduate or graduate levels; and (3) extensive management-related corporate/industry experience. Applicants must demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and in engaging in service to the Management Department, the Opus College of Business, and the University of St. Thomas.
