  • 1.  Tenure track position announcement

    Clarion University of Pennsylvania's College of Business Administration, Department of Administrative Sciences

     

    Applications are invited for full-time, tenure track position(s), rank open, in the Administrative Sciences Department, starting in the Fall semester of 2009.

     

    One full-time tenure-track position. Applicants for this position must have the ability to teach and make scholarly contributions in the areas of strategic management, human resource management and general management. A Ph.D. or equivalent in management or related field is required, but consideration may be given to advanced ABD candidates. Completion of a successful interview with a classroom presentation is required. Review of applications will begin on November 10, 2008 and will continue until position is filled.

    Prior to a final offer of employment the selected candidate will be required to submit to a background check including, but not limited to, employment verification, educational and other credential verification and criminal background check.     Department of Management invites applications for a tenure-track position in Management at the rank of Assistant Professor, effective Fall 2009. Requirements include a doctorate in management from an AACSB accredited institution, a record of (or potential for) teaching excellence and scholarly research.  Discipline specialties desired are human resource management or organizational behavior, but all areas of management will be considered. Duties include teaching 9-12 hours per semester at the undergraduate and graduate levels, productive research, service to the university, the profession, and the community, and student advising.
