I am going nutso. Sorry for venting. :(
I am planning on using Schoorman & Ballinger's 2006 trust scale as the instrument for my trust construct. It has an alpha of 0.84 and the questions fit well with my other psychometrics. Schoorman, Mayer & Davis chat about it in their 07 AOM piece, but I cannot find out how they scored it.
I have searched, but failed literature how to score it. Are the question scores summed.
Or is each individual's responses to each question summed. A higher score indicates a more positive trust relationship is perceived?
Any help, pointing me to research article that has this info would be super.
